Hello,

I'm just curious at to what i am classified under. There seems to be an understanding that atheists believe that there cannot be a god.

Here are my beliefs or non beliefs :)

I dont think any of the religions on earth are valid, I believe they are all just created by man/woman.

I think there might have been some powerful force that created the universe, sentient or not i dont know, or the universe could have just always been I dont know.

If this powerful force was sentient or not i dont think we matter much, we're just a by product of the creation of the universe.

Like I said i just see this a possibility, it seems like to be an atheist I have to deny that such a thing is possible.

You are athiest.  From what I have seen you believe in the way I would say the average athiest believes in.  Its the belief of the scientific community.  The origin of the universe is still unknown, if god created it that is fine.  The important thing is assessing and discovering reality instead of believing in something that is unverifiable or pretend.

You believe as I.  You definetly are atheist.   If you were agnostic you would believe in generally the same thing but you would still have a belief in his existence.  You seem to have some uncertainty about what to believe in relation with the creation of the universe, my best suggestion would be to read up on some of the universe creationist thinking and science.  The big bang has many valid scientific sources, it is by far the most viable option, it isn't simply a guess, its discovery is based on tride and true science.
