This is a letter written over the death of George Carlin, one of the funniest comedians on the planet. This is absolutely an outrageous & disgusting reaction to the death of a fellow human being who brought a lot of joy & laughter to millions. If a ''wonderful'' xian person doesn't like the comedy, don't listen! Another's life & lifestyle is none of the xians business, & if more religious dictatorships would mind their own business, there'd be a lot less war in the world!!! We're quite capable of living our own life the way we see fit, & certainly don't need some brain dead believer telling us any different, nor predicting any horrible future after our deaths. One more time, it's nobody's business!!!! If I was a violent person, I'd like to slap this fine upstanding xian person a few hundred times until it said something to the effect of keeping one's damn mouth shut & cleaning up their own back yard!!!!!Well, it certainly didn't take long for the Jesus-loving masses to jump on George's death with lame, knee-jerk, insecurity-revealing "last laugh" jabs. George spent nearly 50 years calling bullshit on their man-made sky-god fantasy, and this (below) is a tiny sampling of how insecure Christians use his death to validate their own delusion. Those of us who understood George's shtick know that he would have taken it all as a compliment. Google "George Carlin is burning in hell" to find more panicky Christian commentary on various discussion boards.
Human waste? Only a Christian would say such a thing. But I say fuck 'em if they can't take a joke. And apparently they can't. |

In memory of George Carlin, one quote from him I'll never forget, which has helped me along the way, I'll always admire the courage he had to stand up and tell it like it is, and not give a damn about what other people thought.
"In the Bullshit Department, a businessman can't hold a candle to a clergyman. 'Cause I gotta tell you the truth, folks. When it comes to bullshit, big-time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims: religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told.
Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you.
He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story. Holy Shit!"

I started to digress into the Xians insidious and hateful comments, but I'll leave that for another post.
Of course George did have a last say:
